Kim Liah is a human rights advocate and a seasoned humanitarian professional with extensive experience working across Africa and the Middle East. He currently serves as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS).

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a master's degree in international education and development from Oslo Metropolitan University (Norway), and a master's degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from Aberystwyth University (United Kingdom).

In his work with the United Nations and other international organizations, Kim focuses on addressing the protection and humanitarian needs of individuals affected by conflict and natural disasters. His efforts primarily target displaced populations, with particular attention to the welfare of children, women, and the elderly.

A dedicated scholar, Kim is the author of two books on the ancient history of the Nilotic people and continues to publish academic papers exploring the heritage and cultural dynamics of specific Nilotic groups.
