On Friday 27th May, 2022, South Sudan Center for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) in collaboration with International Development Research Centre (IDRC), conducted a dialogue session on Education and Research/Science system landscape under the IDRC-CSPS project Understanding the Research Ecosystem in South Sudan Through a Thematic Dialogue Series.
The dialogue session was led by Mr. Avelino Andruga Said, moderated by Dr. Melha Rout Biel, Mr. Simon Pech Biliw was the Rapporteur of the session, and Mr. Peter Manyang Bichiok, the IT Officer.
The dialogue session was attended by representatives from academia, policy makers, research institutions, diplomatic community, civil society organizations, CSPS and IDRC researchers, consultants and specialists in the field physically and online through zoom.
This is the Sixth and final dialogue session in the series of six (6) thematic areas covered by the project. The first dialogue session was conducted on Monday, 18th October, 2021 on Governance, Stabilization and Peacebuilding Research Ecosystem in South Sudan, the second dialogue session was conducted on Friday, 5th November 2021 on Women Voices and Leadership Research Ecosystem in South Sudan, the third session was convened on Friday, 19th November, 2021 on Health Equity and the fourth dialogue session on Climate-Smart Agriculture and Food Security Systems,which was convened on Friday 22nd April, 2022. The Fifth dialogue session was on Internally Displace Persons and Refugees in South Sudan, which was conducted on 13th May, 2022.
